Full week of 1st Global Wealth Management Academy workshops
MATRIX™ Workshops are a full week of education designed to train firm partners, advisors and wealth management assistants on building and managing a successful wealth management business. These workshops cover the four areas your firm must master to build a wealth management business: Marketing, Sales, Operations and Administration.
The first two days cover essential marketing systems and sales skills. Firm partners and assistants will learn how to market financial services to clients using proven marketing tools and systems. Attendees also learn sales presentation skills and how to use them when conducting client meetings. The latter part of the course provides an overview of processes and paperwork, compliance, legal and technical considerations and the essentials of doing business through 1st Global.
Marketing - Marketing means creating awareness with your clients of the value of the wealth management services your firm offers. The workshops are an introduction to the wide variety of tools 1st Global has developed to get your firm's message out, including the Live Your Dreams Workshop, Method 10™ postcards, Client Survey Template and the Financial Objectives Checklist. The workshop also introduces the 1st Global Marketing Field Guide, a turnkey program designed to take the guesswork out of marketing for your firm’s wealth management services.
Sales - By "sales," we mean a process for uncovering the financial needs of your firm's clients, and ethically influencing them to take action to address those needs. MATRIX™ Workshops provide an opportunity to review the client engagement resources 1st Global has created, most importantly, the 1040 Analyzer™. Also examined are the basics of conducting successful client meetings and the recommended meeting cycle for wealth management. Attendees also learn how to build customized investment solutions for clients using the IMS Proposal System, a powerful tool for incorporating fee-based solutions into your practice.
Operations - Operations includes the functions necessary to implement solutions to address your clients’ financial needs. This portion of the MATRIX™ focuses on the paperwork required in order to establish and maintain client accounts. It also introduces the different online tools used to look up client account information and the ways this information can be applied to better serve clients.
Administration - Administration means maintaining a work environment that is consistent with regulatory policies. MATRIX™ workshops provide an opportunity to meet 1st Global’s compliance staff and learn the dos and don’ts of a wealth management practice that stays compliant with industry regulations.
