1st Global Raises More Than $5,000 on North Texas Giving Day

In 1st Global’s inaugural year as a corporate member of the Entrepreneurs for North Texas (EFNT), the company collectively donated $5,424 to various non-profit organizations in participation of North Texas Giving Day 2016.
Sponsored by EFNT and Communities Foundation of Texas, North Texas Giving Day is the largest online giving day in the nation, directly raising awareness for and impacting more than 2,000 non-profit organizations in the North Texas area. Since its creation in 2009, this online giving day has consistently increased its donations from year to year and has raised more than $119 million overall. This year, a new annual record was broken, with a total of $37 million raised and given to 2,518 non-profit organizations.
On Thursday, Sept. 22, 1st Global employees took action and generously supported the community by giving to non-profit causes they are most passionate about. In addition to individual employee donations, 1st Global made a commitment to enhance employee donations with a corporate match totaling $2,000. The corporate matches combined with the individual employee donations to provide a total of $5,424 in donations to 31 different non-profit organizations in the North Texas area.
“It was an honor for 1st Global to be a part of North Texas Giving Day this year,” 1st Global Assistant Vice President of People Jeff Kramer said. “We aspire to be servant leaders, and I was exceptionally proud to see our employees donate to various causes and use this day as an avenue to be intentional in our community.”
While the direct impact of these donations to non-profit organizations may not always be seen, 1st Global employees gave generously to those less fortunate, and that is an impact that will last a lifetime. 1st Global would like to thank its employees for being servant leaders and participating in North Texas Giving Day.
